We only use leather from organically-raised cattle in Sweden, ensuring the highest standard of animal welfare.
All leather hides are marked with an individual number, which makes it possible to trace them back to the location of the farm where the cattle was raised. A unique code is also engraved on each bag, providing detailed information on the origin of all the materials used.
The leather is vegetable tanned, using a natural bark extract. No chrome or other chemicals have been used, ensuring it is free from harmful substances and fully biodegradable. Leftovers from the tannery are even used by locals as a fertilizer for the plants in their gardens.
At the 140 year old tannery highly experienced craftsmen are passionate about their creation of premium quality leathers and employ the most environmentally-sustainable techniques possible.

This 100% mohair fabric is made from one of nature's finest sources of natural fiber, the fleece of the Angora goat (no relation to the Angora rabbit).
The term “mohair” is derived from the Arabian word “Muhayar” which literally means “ the fabric of goat hair”. The goats are sheared twice a year and it does not require any animals to be harmed.
The Angora goat is a delicate animal and is very sensitive to temperature change. They can only live in a dependable mild climate. There are only three regions in the entire world that consistently meet these ideal conditions: Texas USA, South Africa and Turkey.
The sheared mohair is developed into a woven material by a factory in Germany called Schulte. Here they have been producing this beautiful material since 1901. It was originally developed to make the fur for teddy bears and, since these teddy bears were meant for small children, the process of dying and finishing of the mohair fabric has been strictly controlled to meet the highest standards in quality and safety.

GUARANTEE CONDITIONS:
Each Myuze bag has a 12-month guarantee against manufacturing and material faults. This 12 month period commences on the date of purchase. Claims may be made under the guarantee only if the Myuze product was purchased from an official Myuze dealer. If you discover a manufacturing or material fault during the guarantee period, Myuze will repair the product free of charge or replace it, provided the guarantee conditions apply. All of this is subject to the presentation of a dated receipt for the product.
The guarantee is limited to the value of the article. It does not cover the costs of repairs carried out by third parties. The guarantee is rendered null and void if any party (other than Myuze) has carried out repairs on the article.
The guarantee does not apply to:
Damage caused by improper use, neglect or abnormal circumstances such as exposure to chemicals, extreme temperatures or water. Scratches, transport damage and normal wear and tear are also excluded from the guarantee. Normal wear and tear is understood as: scratches, irregularitites and other traces of regular use of the article.
The leather we use is a 100% natural product and may exhibit slight differences in color and structure. The leather does not have any surface coating or finishing and can therefore show minor irregularities as a result of insect bites or folds in the skin. These are not considered defects, but prove the authenticity of the leather.
Our leather can change color over time when exposed to direct sunlight: light colors can become a bit darker and dark colors a bit lighter. This is part of the natural characteristic of vegetable-tanned leather and with correct care and maintenance, premium vegetable tanned leather will age gracefully, developing a beautiful patina with use over time.
LEATHER CARE:
If your leather bag becomes stained or stiff and dry after getting wet repeat step 1 and 2 .
Over time you will develop your own “hand feel” for when cleaning or care is needed.
1. Remove any dirt or stains with a clean natural sponge or soft cloth before applying any oils or conditioners.
Varieties of leather cleaning products are available and can be divided into two groups distinguished by their active ingredients:
-Surfectants that clean the surface of the leather.
-Leather soaps that deep clean.
Advice: Try both types of cleaners to find your preference.
Also: We would like to point out that certain detergents and chemicals can damage the surface of the leather. Therefore we strongly recommend using a cleaning product based on natural ingredients.
2. After cleaning, it is important to apply nourishment to the leather, to protect it and help it to retain moisture. Use a product that contains a natural wax. The wax will protect the leather in the same way that it protects the paint of a car. Please be aware that applying a natural wax can darken the color of the leather slightly.
